If a preorder is materially delayed, canceled, or otherwise affected, we will handle refunds or other remedies in accordance with applicable law and any posted preorder or refund policy.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, authors retain ownership of their submitted work.
Submitting a manuscript or other material gives Raines Publishing only the limited permission reasonably necessary to receive, store, access, and evaluate the submission.
Publishing rights will only be transferred or licensed through a separate written publishing agreement.
Authors should retain their own copies of all submitted materials.
8. Similar Ideas and Works
Raines Publishing may receive or independently develop books, stories, concepts, titles, themes, characters, ideas, or other creative material that may be similar to material submitted by an author.
Submission of material does not prevent Raines Publishing or another author from independently creating, acquiring, evaluating, or publishing material with similar general ideas, themes, genres, concepts, or subject matter, provided that protected expression from the submitted work is not unlawfully copied.
9. User-Submitted Content
If the website allows reviews, comments, messages, submissions, or other user-generated content, you remain responsible for the material you provide.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit that material and that it does not unlawfully infringe the rights of another person.
